Hi everyone! This photo was taken today while we were leaving work. I haven't been able to wear these pants for 5 years so how cool is that? I know my belt is off-center but it's the same one I've worn for the last year. Not sure on the total weight loss as my appointment got pushed back to Sept. 8. Hope everyone is doing well!

2nd photo taken 5/17/2008...Down 92lbs!---This shirt is HUGE on me now! Notice the tan too? I'm getting some color!!!

7 months and 7 days until our wedding. I hope to lose another 75 lbs. Shouldn't be a problem sweating it off now that's been 110 8 straight days!

4 month pictures

Here are the 4 month pictures. I lost another 20 lbs to make it 82 lbs in 4 months. I am happy with the results...but not satisfied. The doctor was very happy with the results, but agreed I need to kick it up a notch or three with the exercising. Good news is there are no more restrictions on my diet as far as what I can eat. I can eat salad, beef, and all veggies including torn. And I found out on Saturday I still need to eat SMALL bites and CHEW theroughly or the pulled pork makes a second appearance 2 minutes after eating; which usually hurts and means water for the rest of the day.

In the pic above I'm not sure if you can see but I'm on hole #2 of 4 holes drilled into my belt. My goal on that is to keep using the same belt until all 200 lbs have been lost!

This picture says a few things...one is I'm losing my waddle. My face is changing every week. Two..I REALLY need to get out in the sun more! It was 90 here today so hopefully the white will go away. And three...yes dad I didn't shave before the pic was taken.

This pic shows the curse my dad and I suffer. It's a disease called NoAssAtAll. I still have 12 pack & a pizza abs but my waste has shrunk 8 sizes. My goal on my next weigh-in is for the first number to change in my total weight. If it does then I will purchase new jeans. But to surprise my baby I may purchase them early...so shhhhhh. Thought I would end with a funny picture. Yes I need to do more curls!

Today, January 21, 2008 was another weigh-in. It has been 2 months since the bypass surgery and I am happy to announce I have lost 62 lbs in 2 months! I am happy with the results but know there is still A LONG WAYS TO GO! Some milestones and achievements reached with this weigh-in: I have gone down 4 sizes in underwear, I have gone almost to the end hole on my belt (need to get the drill out soon to make new holes), I can now fit in 8 pairs of dress slacks that I couldn't 2 years ago, and I was able to clip my own toenails without passing out. The last one seems pretty funny but I consider it quite an achievement (those of you overweight can relate). I can honestly say the best thing to happen since the surgery was I went into a department store today and was able to buy something off THEIR rack rather than having to go to a big and tall store.

DOWN 62 LBS! 138 TO GO! I WILL GET THERE!

NEXT MONTH'S GOAL:25 LBS. BUT TO BE HONEST I WANT 38 LBS LOST. THAT WOULD GIVE ME 100 IN 3 MONTHS!

BIG SMILE! IT COULD BE THAT I KEPT MY SUPPER OF GARLIC CHICKEN DOWN. IT COULD BE BECAUSE I'M WEARING MY NEW NOTRE DAME HAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY. BUT I THINK IT'S BECAUSE I LOVE THE GIRL THAT TOOK THIS PICTURE! ONE YEAR FROM TODAY BABY WE'LL BE MARRIED! I HAVE TO LOSE THAT 200 BY DECEMBER 31, 2008! HELP ME. ENCOURAGE ME. BUT DON'T ANYONE DARE TELL ME I CAN'T DO IT! BUT THEN AGAIN IT ADDS FUEL TO THE FIRE BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE AT WORK DOUBTED I WOULD GET THIS FAR!

One month and down 40!!!

It's been one month since my last weigh-in and I'm happy to report that I'm down 40lbs! My food options now include fruits, vegetables, liver, sauces and condiments but still three months away from red meat, pork and carbs.

I feel great and am almost over the cold I battled last weekend. The knotch in my belt has moved three times and my pants are falling off of me! Check back for more of my weightloss journey.
